Researchers at Harvard Medical School have found that resveratrol increases the production of a protein called SIRT1, and although it has not yet been confirmed in humans, in theory this action could increase human lifespan dramatically. Resveratrol Synergy is optimally formulated to include quercetin, another beneficial polyphenol, because research suggests a powerful synergism with resveratrol, lecithin for enhanced absorption and a standardization to the trans-form of resveratrol, as only the trans-form of the molecule is capable of activating the mammalian SIRT1 gene in vitro.
